  • Guided relaxation techniques
  • Stretching exercises

Yoga II: Intermediate Course

This course builds on the foundation laid in the first part of our beginners courses and gives the opportunity to build up a solid practice, including all the basic postures and breathing exercises.

Emphasis is placed on holding postures longer and making smooth transitions between them. Some variations of the basic postures are introduced. Training in the headstand is offered for those who are ready.

This is an ideal refresher class for those who have lapsed in their practice. It is also suitable for experienced practitioners who are new to the Center.

Please reserve early to secure your place.

Yoga & Meditation Course

The practice of yoga asanas (yoga postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), and relaxation is considered to be ideal preparation for the practice of steadying the mind in meditation.

This course gives a practical introduction to all of these practices. Each 90-minute class includes approximately 60 minutes of yoga, pranayama, and relaxation practice and 30 minutes of work on the theory and practice of meditation.
